52 Weeks Colour Challenge-Week 2

This weeks colour for the challenge is blue.  I was a bit surprised I had only a select quanitity of blue in my inventory but, I did find a very beautiful dress from Paris Metro that fit the bill for the colour blue beautifully.

SF Design Group Gift

Button's Skins: Store Closing

Sadly, Not Button will be closing her store but, before she closes she though; she has marked down her skins to 99L.  There is also a wall full of free skins that she is giving away as a gift and thank you to her customers.  I don't have a date for when the store is closed for good but, drop by and check it out before these skins are gone for good.

Finally back!

Due to RL life demands and the craziness of summer, I had to take some time away from SL and the blog.  Now that things are finally winding down and I can breath again, I can now finally get back to what I love to do..be in SL shopping!
While browsing around, trying to catch up with what has been going on and the latest news, I found that a couple of the bloggers have decided to restart the Colour Challenge that Luna Jubilee started back in November 2010, on her blog.
Anya Ohmai  and Mystic Shilling have begun with the first week's colour..grey.  Since it's just beginning I figured it's a good time to jump into the fun and see what I can come up with for the week's colour.

Heartsick Group

Heartsick is a skin store that I admit, is a favorite of mine.  The skins are soft looking, have very pretty features and they come with a nice variety of options, like freckles, birthmarks, cleavage or no cleavage etc.
Normally the group fee is 100L but, right now it's free to join, which is a fabulous deal for all the special deals that you are notified about. One of the deals I love is the Secret sales that occur.  They usually last 5 days, each day about 3 skins are chosen at random and marked down.  The prices can range from 10L (wow!) to 100L.  I'm not saying that one is going on right now, since..it's a secret but, the lack of a group fee is worth jumping over, joining and taking a look around.

Spirit skin line - Harmony tone - La Mer Makeup

The newest line in Heartsick, amazing skin that I have completely fallen in love with.  It comes with several style options, including eyebrow layers, teeth tattoo layer, lipstick tattoos with and without teeth.

Enchant line - Rapture skin tone

A little older line, the prices for the Enchant skins is 350L, which is a steal with the wonderful makeups, including some that are almost bare, for those of us who like a more natural look.

Group Gift skin

Well worth mentioning, this is one of the 8 skin tones you can get when you join the group.  The tones range from very pale to a very dark appearance.  The group gift also comes with 7 hair base tattoo layers and 6 different style choice in each skin tone.
So before the group join fee is reset again to 100L, now is the time to join.  The group gift alone is worth it and the quality of the skins are not to be missed, in my opinion.

Hola, I want to show something cute and pretty. Since I am away from a week, this might not be real time releases.. however, if you haven't got it yet, this is a reminder.. LOL 

Imabee give out the skin called Petal  Miranda. It has a lot freckles which I think it is cute, and it matches with the light yellow eye shadow and lipstick, A very good combination for young people.   

X.Z. Design has a skin called Stefanie in one of the Lucky Chair.It is a dark skin with light blue eye shadow, and  bright pink lip color. The texture of the skin very smooth. 

CandyDoll  had a skin sales recently but I think it is no longer available now. I never bought any Candy Doll skin before this, and I decided to try the skin, and I go "Wow", it is really superb. I really love the eye shadow color and the lip color, as well as the lip design.

Priss - Diorsis

Priss is a clothes store but they sent out this cute skin in the suscribo last evening. Unfortunately, you can not get it now because the gift was removed after sending it, but you can join the suscribo. We never know when another gift can be sent. Another beautiful skin at a very affordable price. Only @ 70L, this skin is called BS Blossom Cream 1.  This skin  is creamy fair, with simple makeup, this is very good for resident who likes to uses a lot of other make-up such as eyes, and lip. 

On a relaxing day, I love to have a light makeup but still look beautiful.  And I love my lips.

I am wearing Bang! Bang! Group Gift @ Simona 5 Skin. Personally, I think this skin is very smooth, without freckles, or whatsoever marks that we can found in normal skin that are in the Second Life trend. It is smooth and shinning, which I think it is very suitable for night activities in Second Life. The lips color is superb, with shinning glossy moisture look, which I love and the quality of the lip color is similar to one of the well known skin shop. 

The not so good thing about this skin is, the nail are black in color, I would prefer it to be glossy white. I would wear this skin, when I am in the mood of clubbing or shopping in high street.

I  found out that, sometimes,  if you have a skin which is not  really suitable with your  shape, why not try it with different hair look, the impression of your avatar will be different. Can you see the difference between the first and the second photo of mine, they are wearing the same  skin, but different hair.

Since this is the very first post in this blog, I figured I would start it out right with an amazing lady who designs some great skins.  Silence Acoustic is the owner and creator of the {silenced} store, which caters to womens skins and clothing.  Super sweet lady who is not only superbly nice but, very talented.  I have two of her skins today to show off and enjoy.  (side note:  I do not photoshop my pictures, so what you see here, is what you will see when you purchase one)
